About Battle Damage

Bridging the Training Gap in Large-Scale Attrition Planning

Battle Damage was founded to address a critical gap in military training and planning— the lack of depth in products and services that prepare service members and DoD civilians for large-scale attrition planning. Too often, militaries are forced to learn hard lessons in the midst of conflict, when rapid decision-making is crucial, and solutions must already be in place.

Why Battle Damage Exists

The worst time to plan for attrition is during wartime. By the time a major conflict erupts, decision-makers must already have robust strategies, tools, and resources in place that allow them to rapidly generate combat power and sustain operations in a contested battlespace. This is referred to as Setting the Theater. Attrition mitigation is difficult to train for in peace time without adequate simulated training.

Service members and DoD civilians need realistic, data-driven tools and training services that prepare them in peacetime to develop strategies and plans for wartime. The United States and allied forces must have clear, tested strategies to mitigate attrition impacts, regenerate combat forces, and sustain operations in large-scale conflicts.

Our Mission

Battle Damage is dedicated to equipping military leaders, planners, and logisticians with the expertise, simulations, and decision-support tools they need to prepare for large-scale attrition scenarios. Our goal is to ensure that when attrition occurs, the response is proactive—not reactive.

How We Address This Gap
